Looks cool. Not much major differences, but sweet nevertheless.

Posted by TheGrymoire Looks too green to be tan. But it's still pretty neat.

It's more of a dark green olive drab then beach blonde

Posted by ChestyMcGee Pros: Nice idea, I'm surprised there arn't one hundred of these on the site already. I quite like the light metal, from far away it really brings out the detail. Cons: When looking down the sights however, you can really see some of the detail has been blurred somewhat. Also, when I saw the thumbnail I didn't think this was tan at first. Even when looking at the full image I still think it looks somewhere between olive drab and tan. Improvements: I don't know how to improve the metal, perhaps make it a tad darker - this almost looks like something from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I know the tan is a hard colour to get right, but if you persevere I'm sure you can get this looking loads better.

I didnt reskin the entire weapon, yes i know its slightly blurry but the dev's created it to be like that and i dont fully understand how to make it look sharper. but im not a texture artist, and i know its not really an olive drab Colour but thats what V2 is for :) I've even cleaned up most of the scratches to give it that brand new look.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I'll make the adjustments now for V2.

The tanned parts of the rifle are, The buttstock, the Frontpost, the Vert Grip, the RIS handguard and RIS covers.

But i'll have a butch at what looks nice in tan :)

Pros: The 2 toned skin looks good. It emphasises all the different parts of the rifle, and it brings out all the detail that you couldn't see with default textures. Cons: It is too clean and plain. It looks like it just came out of the amoury. I'm pretty sure in war-torned Iraq, a M4 would look more battle-worn then that. Improvements: See Cons.

You could also extend the tan colour to other parts of the rifle, like the magazine. Notes: Nicely skinned, but a bit plain. Good job!
